I met Lori Gottlieb just as she was releasing her newest book, a NY Times Best Seller – Marry Him. I had been interviewed bythe UK’s BBC 5 Live Radio about Lori’s message regarding settling – I had written about her original article, seen in the Atlantic Monthly magazine. She heard my interview and wrote to thank me, that’s how we got connected.

Lori isn’t really asking anyone to settle for less than they deserve. Her message is based on her own life and dating experience. She has looked back at her dating history and has a few regrets regarding how she made her decisions about men. And Lori also acknowledges that perhaps she made some unreasonable, snap judgments about the men she met and dated.

I am so excited to be talking with Lori as one of the dating experts in the Dating for Keeps Expo. She did a ton of research, talking with numerous university professors who are studying relationships and marriage from sociological angles.
